A R E S O L U T I O N

Honoring
the Clark County Special Olympics volleyball team on winning the 2025
State Championship.

WHEREAS,
The members of the Senate of the 136th General Assembly of Ohio are
pleased to commend the Clark County Special Olympics volleyball team
as the 2025 State Champion; and

WHEREAS,
Known as a driven and spirited squad, the members of the Clark County
Special Olympics volleyball team have developed into an accomplished
group of athletes whose talent is equaled only by their admirable
display of teamwork. Without exception, they had prepared
conscientiously in pursuit of the championship, devoting countless
hours to training and practice in order to ensure peak conditioning;
and

WHEREAS,
The members of the Clark County Special Olympics volleyball team have
demonstrated remarkable energy, enthusiasm, and dedication in all of
their endeavors. Indeed, they have epitomized the motivation and
poise that befit authentic champions, and as a result, they defeated
Pickerington to win the state championship at this year’s Ohio
Special Olympics Summer Games; and

WHEREAS,
Each athlete on the Clark County Special Olympics volleyball team has
exemplified the qualities necessary for excellence both in and out of
sports. Through their participation in Special Olympics, these fine
players have learned lessons of hard work and good sportsmanship that
will undoubtedly be of great benefit to them throughout their lives;
therefore be it

RESOLVED,
That we, the members of the Senate of the 136th General Assembly of
Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, applaud the Clark County Special
Olympics volleyball team on its success and extend best wishes for
the future; and be it further

RESOLVED,
That the Clerk of the Senate transmit a duly authenticated copy of
this Resolution to the Clark County Special Olympics volleyball team.
