A R E S O L U T I O N

Honoring
the Fairfield County Fair on its one hundred seventy-fifth season.

WHEREAS,
The members of the Senate of the 136th General Assembly of Ohio are
pleased to pay tribute to the Fairfield County Fair as it celebrates
its one hundred seventy-fifth season; and

WHEREAS,
Since the establishment of the Fairfield County Fair, all those
involved with this iconic gathering have demonstrated exemplary
commitment in their support of this event. Generations of
hard-working people have seen to it that the fair has endured, and it
is through the efforts of such individuals that Fairfield County and
the State of Ohio continue to grow and prosper; and

WHEREAS,
For the past seventeen and a half decades, the Fairfield County Fair
has afforded local citizens the opportunity to gather together, to
enjoy a range of diverse and exciting activities for all ages and
interests, and to showcase their pride in their community. The
friendliness and neighborly atmosphere of the fair have certainly
distinguished it as one of Ohio’s finest celebrations; and

WHEREAS,
Over the years, Fairfield County has benefited from a generous and
civic-minded population, and the many individuals who have worked so
diligently to ensure the success of the Fairfield County Fair have
displayed a commendable spirit of cooperation and commitment. The
area’s citizens are deserving of high praise for their optimism and
determination; therefore be it

RESOLVED,
That we, the members of the Senate of the 136th General Assembly of
Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, applaud the Fairfield County Fair
on its one hundred seventy-fifth season and extend best wishes for
the future; and be it further

RESOLVED,
That the Clerk of the Senate transmit a duly authenticated copy of
this Resolution to the Fairfield County Fair.
