A R E S O L U T I O N
Honoring
Brice Fuller as the 2025 Division III State Boys Cross Country
Champion.
WHEREAS,
The members of the Senate of the 136th General Assembly of Ohio are
pleased to extend special recognition to Brice Fuller on securing the
2025 Division III State Championship in boys cross country; and
WHEREAS,
A diligent and capable individual, Brice Fuller is deserving of
acknowledgement for his exemplary accomplishments as a sophomore
member of the Fairless High School boys cross country team. A
remarkable athlete, he won this year’s Division III State
Championship with a time of 14:52.76, and he not only established a
new state record but was the only runner to break the fifteen‑minute
mark during any of the state meet races. Indeed, his notable record
of personal achievement stands as a hallmark for others; and
WHEREAS,
Throughout the 2025 season, Brice Fuller had prepared conscientiously
in pursuit of the state crown, devoting countless hours to training
and practice in order to ensure peak conditioning. This demanding
regimen has paid handsome dividends, for he certainly has set an
example for others to emulate; and
WHEREAS,
In an educational system that seeks to teach tomorrow’s leaders the
fundamentals of self-reliance and the rewards of individual effort,
high school athletics have become a valuable tool. We are proud to
salute Brice Fuller’s athletic achievement, and know the skills and
dedication he has demonstrated as a cross country runner will aid him
in facing challenges; therefore be it
RESOLVED,
That we, the members of the Senate of the 136th General Assembly of
Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, congratulate Brice Fuller as the
2025 Division III State Boys Cross Country Champion and look with
optimism to the years ahead; and be it further
RESOLVED,
That the Clerk of the Senate transmit a duly authenticated copy of
this Resolution to Brice Fuller.
