A R E S O L U T I O N
Honoring
the Tippecanoe High School girls volleyball team on securing the 2025
Division III State Championship.
WHEREAS,
The members of the Senate of the 136th General Assembly of Ohio are
pleased to pay tribute to the Tippecanoe High School girls volleyball
team as the 2025 Division III State Champion; and
WHEREAS,
The talented Tippecanoe High School girls volleyball team is, indeed,
to be heartily commended for decisively earning this year’s
Division III State Championship by outscoring Bloom-Carroll High
School 25-19, 25-22, 24-26, 25-10. The squad’s performance, which
includes compiling an undefeated 29-0 record, reflects the
outstanding collective effort by a gifted group of athletes, and
without exception, the team has devoted countless hours to training
and practice in order to ensure peak conditioning. Clearly, this
demanding regimen has paid handsome dividends; and
WHEREAS,
The members of the Tippecanoe High School girls volleyball team have
epitomized the power, poise, and precision that befit true champions.
Despite sometimes grueling pressure, they have consistently
maintained their composure and morale, exhibiting strength, speed,
stamina, and agility in every challenging encounter. Time and again,
the Red Devils have risen to the occasion, amply demonstrating their
unflagging determination, and their impressive maturity and finesse
have earned them widespread respect, even among their most formidable
rivals; and
WHEREAS,
By weathering a rigorous schedule and prevailing over a host of
adversaries, the members of the Tippecanoe High School girls
volleyball team have learned much about dedication, self-discipline,
leadership, and perseverance. Their first-place finish is a measure
of their stalwart commitment to the sport, and their indomitable
spirit has made their families, friends, and coach, Howard Garcia,
incredibly proud; therefore be it
RESOLVED,
That we, the members of the Senate of the 136th General Assembly of
Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, applaud the Tippecanoe High School
girls volleyball team on its brilliant 2025 season and wish its
members continued success in all of their future endeavors; and be it
further
RESOLVED,
That the Clerk of the Senate transmit a duly authenticated copy of
this Resolution to the Tippecanoe High School girls volleyball team.
