A R E S O L U T I O N

Honoring
Esther Price Candies on its Centennial.

WHEREAS,
The members of the Senate of the 136th General Assembly of Ohio are
pleased to congratulate Esther Price Candies on the auspicious
occasion of its One Hundredth Anniversary; and

WHEREAS,
Recognition of this prestigious milestone is a fitting tribute to
Esther Price Candies, for throughout the past century, this fine
business has attained a remarkable record of service to the Dayton
area. Established by Esther Price in 1926, the company still makes
all its products by hand with the original recipes crafted by its
founder, and it uses premium chocolate, locally produced milk and
butter, fancy-grade almonds, pecans, and cashews, and succulent
cherries, just as it did a century ago; and

WHEREAS,
The success of Esther Price Candies is a justifiable source of pride
and an outstanding reflection not only on the venture itself but also
on its astute management and on its hard‑working employees.
This respected enterprise has earned the gratitude and appreciation
of many satisfied customers due to the vision and initiative of its
staff, and it is truly deserving of high praise; and

WHEREAS,
Over the years, Esther Price Candies has enhanced the quality of life
within the surrounding area. We are certain that as this worthy
establishment maintains its unwavering dedication to service and
achievement, it will continue to prosper and will uphold the
tradition of excellence that has long been its hallmark; therefore be
it

RESOLVED,
That we, the members of the Senate of the 136th General Assembly of
Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, commend Esther Price Candies on
its One Hundredth Anniversary and extend best wishes for the future;
and be it further

RESOLVED,
That the Clerk of the Senate transmit a duly authenticated copy of
this Resolution to Esther Price Candies.
