A R E S O L U T I O N

Honoring
the Summit Country Day High School girls soccer team as the 2025
Division IV State Champion.

WHEREAS,
The members of the Senate of the 136th General Assembly of Ohio are
pleased to congratulate the Summit Country Day High School girls
soccer team on winning the 2025 Division IV State Championship; and

WHEREAS,
A remarkable group of young athletes, the members of the Summit
Country Day High School girls soccer team have combined talent and
spirit with the highest ideals of good sportsmanship to establish
themselves as truly exceptional competitors. With admirable
dedication, the Silver Knights have worked diligently toward
attaining ultimate proficiency in soccer, and as a result, they
defeated a tough Columbus Academy team by the score of 4-0 to win
this year’s Division IV State Championship, their third consecutive
such crown, and finished the season with an impressive 22-0-2 record;
and

WHEREAS,
The Silver Knights’ achievements and leadership are a justifiable
source of pride and an excellent reflection on the players, their
families, their school, their community, and their coach, Mike Fee.
In leading the team to victory, Coach Fee has not only helped the
athletes to develop their talents to the fullest but also instilled
in them a valuable sense of determination, perseverance, and
camaraderie; and

WHEREAS,
With athletic competition playing such an important role in the total
education of our young people, we are extremely pleased to pay
tribute to the exemplary athletes and outstanding coach who comprise
the Summit Country Day High School girls soccer team. The maturity
and experience they have gained through their participation in sports
will greatly aid them in meeting the challenges of the future;
therefore be it

RESOLVED,
That we, the members of the Senate of the 136th General Assembly of
Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, commend the Summit Country Day
High School girls soccer team on a tremendous 2025 season and salute
the members and coach as some of Ohio’s finest citizens; and be it
further

RESOLVED,
That the Clerk of the Senate transmit a duly authenticated copy of
this Resolution to the Summit Country Day High School girls soccer
team.
