A R E S O L U T I O N

Honoring
Jonathan Thomas for outstanding service to the State of Ohio.

WHEREAS,
The members of the Senate of the 136th General Assembly of Ohio are
pleased to extend special recognition to Jonathan Thomas for his
loyal service to the State of Ohio; and

WHEREAS,
Jonathan Thomas is, indeed, a remarkable individual, for he has
combined civic concern and dedication with selfless initiative to
become a dynamic asset to the Ohio Senate. Commencing his tenure as a
sergeant-at-arms in 2016, he also served as a page coordinator from
2020 to 2025, and he has diligently provided an unparalleled wealth
of knowledge and experience to numerous grateful and appreciative
members of the General Assembly; and

WHEREAS,
Throughout his career, Jonathan Thomas has clearly shown the
potential of each person to have a positive effect on the quality of
life in our society. Always sincere and energetic in his approach to
his work, he has distinguished himself as a conscientious and
responsible Ohioan, and he is truly deserving of high praise; and

WHEREAS,
We are proud to note that it is through the unsurpassed efforts and
deep commitment of diligent people such as Jonathan Thomas that the
State of Ohio continues to grow and prosper. Over the years, he has
striven to serve his fellow citizens to the best of his ability, and
we applaud him on his fine work; therefore be it

RESOLVED,
That we, the members of the Senate of the 136th General Assembly of
Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, commend Jonathan Thomas on his
exemplary state service and offer best wishes for health and
happiness in the years to come; and be it further

RESOLVED,
That the Clerk of the Senate transmit a duly authenticated copy of
this Resolution to Jonathan Thomas.
