A R E S O L U T I O N

Honoring
the Cuyahoga Falls Lions Club on its Centennial.

WHEREAS,
The members of the Senate of the 136th General Assembly of Ohio are
pleased to extend special recognition to the Cuyahoga Falls Lions
Club on the commemoration of its One Hundredth Anniversary, February
21, 2026; and

WHEREAS,
One hundred years of existence is a distinctive milestone for the
Cuyahoga Falls Lions Club, and this occasion provides the chapter a
unique opportunity to celebrate its numerous philanthropic, civic,
and social activities. Founded on October 28, 1925, this iconic club
has overcome challenges and persevered to become an invaluable
resource to the community, and it has established a long and
distinguished history through its thoughtful outreach to Cuyahoga
Falls and the surrounding area; and

WHEREAS,
The State of Ohio continues to prosper thanks to the endeavors of
organizations such as the Cuyahoga Falls Lions Club. Among its
meaningful initiatives, the group has promoted vision care by
sponsoring eyeglasses collection sites and addressing unmet health
and education needs worldwide, and it has established a storied
legacy of volunteerism; and

WHEREAS,
The members of the Cuyahoga Falls Lions Club can always be relied
upon to favor a worthy cause, and these exceptional people have made
a lasting impact on the community through their admirable resolve and
vision. We look with optimism to a society that will continue to
thrive as a result of the initiative of all those who have comprised
the organization, both past and present; therefore be it

RESOLVED,
That we, the members of the Senate of the 136th General Assembly of
Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, applaud the Cuyahoga Falls Lions
Club for one hundred years of exemplary presence in the community and
salute its leadership and members as fine Ohioans; and be it further

RESOLVED,
That the Clerk of the Senate transmit a duly authenticated copy of
this Resolution to the Cuyahoga Falls Lions Club.
