A R E S O L U T I O N

Honoring
Maggie Purdy for outstanding service to the State of Ohio.

WHEREAS,
The members of the Senate of the 136th General Assembly of Ohio are
pleased to extend special recognition to Maggie Purdy for her loyal
service to the Ohio Senate; and

WHEREAS,
Throughout Maggie Purdy’s distinguished tenure, she has
demonstrated an unwavering dedication to performing her duties and
fulfilling her responsibilities with the utmost diligence and
competence. Starting as a fellow with the Ohio Legislative Service
Commission, she went on to serve as a senior legislative aide for
Senator Stephanie Kunze before being named the deputy press secretary
for the Senate Majority Caucus. In her work, she has been
instrumental in maintaining the efficiency and effectiveness of the
legislative process and in ensuring that our state continues to
uphold the ideals that are embodied in our constitution and in the
laws enacted under it; and

WHEREAS,
The expertise and professionalism Maggie Purdy has shown in her
endeavors have gained her the admiration and esteem of all those with
whom she has been associated. As she reflects on her service with the
Ohio General Assembly staff, she has the satisfaction of knowing that
she has provided a valuable service to the state, and her record of
achievement will stand as a hallmark for others to emulate; and

WHEREAS,
Maggie Purdy’s contributions to the State of Ohio have been greatly
appreciated by everyone who has had the pleasure of working with her.
She has displayed exceptional devotion, responsibility, and
enthusiasm over the years, and we offer best wishes as she begins a
new chapter in her estimable career; therefore be it

RESOLVED,
That we, the members of the Senate of the 136th General Assembly of
Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, commend Maggie Purdy for her
exemplary public service and applaud her as a fine Ohioan; and be it
further

RESOLVED,
That the Clerk of the Senate transmit a duly authenticated copy of
this Resolution to Maggie Purdy.
