A R E S O L U T I O N

Honoring
the Cardington FFA conduct of chapter meetings team on earning the
2025 National FFA Championship.

WHEREAS,
The members of the Senate of the 136th General Assembly of Ohio are
pleased to pay tribute to the Cardington FFA conduct of chapter
meetings team on being named the 2025 National FFA Champion; and

WHEREAS,
Under the leadership of their advisor, Erin Wollett, the members of
the Cardington FFA conduct of chapter meetings team became the first
from the State of Ohio to win the National FFA Championship. Students
Jaxon Ongalibang, Madison Garrabrant, Bristal Cain, Mason Newsome,
Victoria Kovacs, Alayna Seavolt, and Ky Barlow worked diligently to
achieve success, and being part of the top ranked chapter in the
state for novice parliamentary procedure, as well as Jaxon Ongalibang
and Victoria Kovacs receiving high honors for their respective roles
in the event, is a testament to their commitment to this fine
organization; and

WHEREAS,
Throughout the school year, the members of the Cardington FFA conduct
of chapter meetings team have shown a sincere desire to fully develop
their knowledge and skills so that they might fulfill their goals,
and this, coupled with their maturity and initiative, illustrates
their potential to become some of tomorrow’s leaders. Indeed, they
have set an example of excellence that is worthy of emulation; and

WHEREAS,
Through participation in FFA, the members of the Cardington FFA
conduct of chapter meetings team will be better prepared to become
productive members of our complex and ever-changing society. Their
achievements in this program will not only enrich their educational
careers but also enable them to make better-informed decisions as
they assume the responsibilities of adult citizenship; therefore be
it

RESOLVED,
That we, the members of the Senate of the 136th General Assembly of
Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, congratulate the Cardington FFA
conduct of chapter meetings team on winning the 2025 National FFA
Championship and extend best wishes for ongoing success; and be it
further

RESOLVED,
That the Clerk of the Senate transmit a duly authenticated copy of
this Resolution to the Cardington FFA conduct of chapter meetings
team.
