A R E S O L U T I O N
Honoring
Trevon Pendleton as a 2024 All-Ohio Division V Football Coach of the
Year.
WHEREAS,
The members of the Senate of the 136th General Assembly of Ohio are
pleased to congratulate Trevon Pendleton on being named a 2024
All-Ohio Division V Coach of the Year in football by the Ohio Prep
Sports Media Association; and
WHEREAS,
As the head football coach at Ironton High School, Trevon Pendleton
has demonstrated remarkable integrity and dedication. Throughout the
2024 season, he not only encouraged his athletes to develop their
talents to the fullest but also instilled in them a valuable sense of
determination, perseverance, camaraderie, and spirit, and as a
result, he led them to the Division V State Championship title; and
WHEREAS,
The expertise, guidance, and sound judgment of coaches such as Trevon
Pendleton are critical to the ultimate success of any athletic
endeavor. Due largely to his tireless efforts, the members of the
Ironton High School football team have emerged as winners, both in
and out of competition, and he has earned the genuine respect and
admiration of many for his fantastic work; and
WHEREAS,
With athletic competition playing such an important role in the total
education of our young people, we are pleased to pay tribute to
Trevon Pendleton for a job well done. His outstanding rapport with
his players, as well as with his fellow coaches, has been a vital
factor in the team’s accomplishments, and he is certainly deserving
of high praise; therefore be it
RESOLVED,
That we, the members of the Senate of the 136th General Assembly of
Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, commend Trevon Pendleton on his
state accolade and extend best wishes for the future; and be it
further
RESOLVED,
That the Clerk of the Senate transmit a duly authenticated copy of
this Resolution to Trevon Pendleton.
