A R E S O L U T I O N

Honoring
Aiden Ohl as a 2026 Division II State Wrestling Champion.

WHEREAS,
The members of the Senate of the 136th General Assembly of Ohio are
pleased to applaud Aiden Ohl on winning first place in the 120-pound
weight class at the 2026 Division II State Wrestling Meet; and

WHEREAS,
Aiden Ohl has proven to be a talented and superbly conditioned
athlete who has gained the respect of fans and opponents alike for
his spirited and highly motivated performance in wrestling.
Throughout the season, he has worked diligently to improve his skills
on the mat, and as a result, he accomplished his goals, including
winning this year’s Division II State Championship in the 120-pound
weight class, and finished his high school career with a total record
173-14; and

WHEREAS,
Known as a driven and determined individual, Aiden Ohl has developed
into a remarkably dedicated and efficient wrestler whose skill is
equaled only by his exemplary display of sportsmanship. Indeed, he is
a credit not only to his family and Ontario High School but also to
the superb leadership of his coaches; and

WHEREAS,
The road to victory is a difficult one, requiring ability, endurance,
and a positive attitude on the part of athletes and coaches alike. In
all of his sports endeavors, Aiden Ohl has overcome a variety of
challenges, and his tremendous efforts are worthy of emulation;
therefore be it

RESOLVED,
That we, the members of the Senate of the 136th General Assembly of
Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, salute Aiden Ohl on his brilliant
wrestling season and wish him the best in the years to come; and be
it further

RESOLVED,
That the Clerk of the Senate transmit a duly authenticated copy of
this Resolution to Aiden Ohl.
