A R E S O L U T I O N

Honoring
Peyton Macek as a 2026 USA Gymnastics Level 3 Ohio Champion.

WHEREAS,
The members of the Senate of the 136th General Assembly of Ohio are
pleased to extend special recognition to Peyton Macek on winning four
events at the 2026 USA Gymnastics Level 3 Ohio Championships; and

WHEREAS,
A member of Kids World Gymnastics, Peyton Macek has combined talent
and competitive spirit with the highest ideals of good sportsmanship
to establish herself as a truly exceptional young athlete. With
admirable dedication, she has worked diligently to attain ultimate
proficiency in gymnastics, and as a result, she won the vault with a
score of 9.675, the bars with a score of 9.65, the beam with a score
of 9.625, and the all-around with a score of 38.050 at this year's
USA Gymnastics Level 3 Ohio Championships; and

WHEREAS,
Peyton Macek's accomplishments and leadership, both in and out of
athletic competition, are a justifiable source of pride and an
excellent reflection not only on her but also on her family, her
teammates, her coaches, and her community. Her unwavering commitment
to excellence has earned her the respect and esteem of many, and she
is certainly worthy of high praise; and

WHEREAS,
With athletic competition playing such an important role in the total
education of our young people, we are extremely pleased to pay
tribute to Peyton Macek on an exemplary performance. Indeed, the same
maturity and experience she has gained through her participation in
sports will greatly aid her in meeting the challenges of the future;
therefore be it

RESOLVED,
That we, the members of the Senate of the 136th General Assembly of
Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, congratulate Peyton Macek on her
achievement and offer best wishes for ongoing success; and be it
further

RESOLVED,
That the Clerk of the Senate transmit a duly authenticated copy of
this Resolution to Peyton Macek.
