A R E S O L U T I O N

In
memory of Jeffry Armbruster.

WHEREAS,
The members of the Senate of the 136th General Assembly of Ohio
extend our sincere condolences to the family and friends of Jeffry
Armbruster on the sorrowful occasion of his death; and

WHEREAS,
Jeff Armbruster will be remembered fondly by all those who knew and
loved him, including his wife, Lee, his six children, and his circle
of family and friends, and his absence will leave an irreparable void
in our society. Respected for his myriad civic, professional, and
personal endeavors, he was celebrated for his integrity, and he
brought a wealth of knowledge and a heart for the public welfare into
all of his efforts to benefit the State of Ohio, Lorain County, and
the City of North Ridgeville; and

WHEREAS,
Jeff Armbruster served as the mayor of North Ridgeville from 1989
until 1995 and as a member of the Ohio Senate from 1999 until 2006,
where he represented the people of the 13th District and held such
positions as the chair of the Highways and Transportation and Ohio
Turnpike Oversight committees and the vice chair of the Insurance,
Commerce, and Labor and Health, Human Services, and Aging committees,
and he garnered the respect of his peers as well as his constituents.
Clearly, his stalwart legacy to our state will endure as a testament
to his passion for community service as well as his positive
philosophy for public life; and

WHEREAS,
Jeff Armbruster made a lasting impression through his leadership, and
in his various roles as the owner of Pinzone Armbruster and
Armbruster Energy Enterprises, the safety service director for the
City of North Ridgeville, and the administrator for Lorain County, he
exemplified the belief that the power of local leaders to enrich and
strengthen the communities they represent would be best achieved by
working together. Indeed, he will be remembered for his visionary
example of citizenship and his support of the State of Ohio;
therefore be it

RESOLVED,
That we, the members of the Senate of the 136th General Assembly of
Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, offer our heartfelt condolences to
the family and friends of Jeffry Armbruster and express a profound
sense of loss on the sorrowful occasion of the death of a fine
Ohioan; and be it further

RESOLVED,
That the Clerk of the Senate transmit a duly authenticated copy of
this Resolution to the family of Jeffry Armbruster.
