A R E S O L U T I O N
Honoring
Annice Carter on her years of service to the Ohio Legislative Service
Commission.
WHEREAS,
The members of the Senate of the 136th General Assembly of Ohio are
pleased to pay tribute to Annice Carter on the memorable occasion of
her retirement from the Ohio Legislative Service Commission, March 3,
2025; and
WHEREAS,
Annice Carter has earnestly served the State of Ohio for three
decades, and throughout the entirety of her tenure, she has been
celebrated for her dedication to public service and her sterling
reputation. Commencing her career with the Ohio Legislative Budget
Office on December 5, 1994, she continued to work as a member of the
LSC support staff team after LBO merged with LSC, and she joined
Resolution Typing in 2008, where she has set herself apart as a
consummate professional and an asset to the department; and
WHEREAS,
Annice Carter has been one of the Ohio Legislative Service
Commission’s most capable ambassadors, giving graciously of her
time and expertise and demonstrating a praiseworthy commitment to the
success of state government. Time and again, she has ensured the
estimable representation of the Ohio General Assembly and its elected
members, and her valuable service has provided the constituents of
our state with the commitment and effectiveness required by the
legislative branch; and
WHEREAS,
Annice Carter’s contributions to the Ohio Legislative Service
Commission, to the Ohio General Assembly, and to the public at large
have been greatly admired by all those who have had the pleasure of
working with her, and her professional endeavors have embodied the
tenets of dependability, sincerity, and integrity. Indeed, her
distinguished service has benefited her colleagues, her fellow
citizens, and the State of Ohio, and her exemplary work ethic has
become her enduring legacy; therefore be it
RESOLVED,
That we, the members of the Senate of the 136th General Assembly of
Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, extend a heartfelt salute to
Annice Carter, a fine Ohioan, and offer best wishes for a happy,
healthy retirement; and be it further
RESOLVED,
That the Clerk of the Senate transmit a duly authenticated copy of
this Resolution to Annice Carter.
