A R E S O L U T I O N

Honoring
Max Hauck on securing first place in the discus and shot put at the
2026 Division II State Track and Field Meet.

WHEREAS,
The members of the Senate of the 136th General Assembly of Ohio are
pleased to extend special recognition to Max Hauck as a two-time 2026
Division II State Track and Field Champion; and

WHEREAS,
Displaying exceptional form, ability, leadership, and dedication as a
member of the Avon High School boys track and field team, Max Hauck
has certainly distinguished himself as one of the most talented
athletes in Ohio. At this year's Division II State Meet, he placed
first in the shot put with a throw of 63 feet, 0.5 inches and the
discus with a throw of 180 feet, 10 inches, and he is deserving of
commendation; and

WHEREAS,
Athletes such as Max Hauck exemplify the qualities necessary for
excellence in any sport, including discipline, agility, conditioning,
and focus. Throughout long hours of practice and competition, he has
consistently demonstrated the talent and motivation that are the key
to success in any endeavor; and

WHEREAS,
Despite sometimes grueling pressure, Max Hauck has consistently
maintained his composure and morale, exhibiting strength, speed, and
stamina in every challenging encounter. Time and again, he has amply
demonstrated his unflagging determination, and he has set an example
for others to emulate; therefore be it

RESOLVED,
That we, the members of the Senate of the 136th General Assembly of
Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, applaud Max Hauck on his
outstanding achievements at the 2026 Division II State Track and
Field Meet and offer best wishes for the years ahead; and be it
further

RESOLVED,
That the Clerk of the Senate transmit a duly authenticated copy of
this Resolution to Max Hauck.
