A R E S O L U T I O N

Honoring
Scott W. Stockman for outstanding service to the State of Ohio.

WHEREAS,
The members of the Senate of the 136th General Assembly of Ohio are
pleased to extend special recognition to Scott W. Stockman for nearly
ten years of loyal service to the Ohio Senate; and

WHEREAS,
Scott Stockman is an esteemed individual, for he has combined civic
concern and dedication with selfless initiative to become a dynamic
member of the Ohio General Assembly staff. During his tenure, he has
been a legislative assistant for Senator Thomas Sawyer and the
constituents of Ohio’s 28th District and a senior policy advisor,
deputy legal counsel, and legal counsel for the Senate Democratic
Caucus, performing his duties with the utmost efficiency and
competence; and

WHEREAS,
Deserving of high praise, Scott Stockman has given generously of his
time, energy, and abilities to assist the Ohio General Assembly and
has demonstrated a noteworthy commitment to the success of our
state’s government. Indeed, he has provided a valuable service by
helping to maintain the efficiency and effectiveness of the
legislative process, and his work ethic has always reflected a
genuine interest in benefiting his fellow Ohioans; and

WHEREAS,
Scott Stockman’s contributions to the State of Ohio have been
greatly appreciated by all those who have had the pleasure of working
with him. He has displayed exceptional insight, dependability, and
integrity in his professional endeavors, and we offer best wishes for
health and happiness in his future; therefore be it

RESOLVED,
That we, the members of the Senate of the 136th General Assembly of
Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, commend Scott W. Stockman on his
exemplary state service and salute him as a fine Ohioan; and be it
further

RESOLVED,
That the Clerk of the Senate transmit a duly authenticated copy of
this Resolution to Scott W. Stockman.
