A R E S O L U T I O N
Honoring
the Austintown Fitch High School competition cheer team as the 2025
OASSA Division 2 Building State Champion.
WHEREAS,
The members of the Senate of the 136th General Assembly of Ohio are
pleased to extend special recognition to the Austintown Fitch High
School competition cheer team on winning the Division 2 building
category at the 2025 Ohio Association of Secondary School
Administrators State Cheer Championships; and
WHEREAS,
The talented athletes of the Austintown Fitch High School competition
cheer team are, indeed, to be commended for their remarkable fitness
and competitive drive, qualities that have figured prominently in the
squad’s impressive performance at this year’s OASSA State Cheer
Championships, including placing first in the Division 2 building
category to claim their second consecutive state title. To their
credit, the members could always be counted on to execute even the
most demanding routines with agility, precision, exuberance, and
grace; and
WHEREAS,
Under the expert guidance of their coaches, Julie Williams, Julie
Ciolino, and Hallie Marstellar, Austintown Fitch High School
competition cheer team members Amadi Beardsley, Skylin Christopher,
Brianna Gay, Kamryn Gizzi, An’Taya Kibble, Danielle Little, Ava
Marstellar, Kaylyn Skowron, Mallory Whorten, and Eliana Williams have
trained tirelessly in order to ensure peak physical and mental
conditioning, and their exceptional prowess has earned them many
admirers. Participation in this sport has enabled them to learn much
about creative expression, discipline, and dedication, and clearly,
the experience they have acquired is certain to benefit them in the
years to come; and
WHEREAS,
Their enthusiastic spirit and love of sports has led all those who
comprise the Austintown Fitch High School competition cheer team to
take part in many activities, and they have served as an inspiration
to their peers. Their accomplishments are a justifiable source of
pride and an excellent reflection not only on them but also on their
families, their coaches, their school, and their community; therefore
be it
RESOLVED,
That we, the members of the Senate of the 136th General Assembly of
Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, congratulate the Austintown Fitch
High School competition cheer team for exemplary achievement and
extend best wishes for ongoing success; and be it further
RESOLVED,
That the Clerk of the Senate transmit a duly authenticated copy of
this Resolution to the Austintown Fitch High School competition cheer
team.
