A R E S O L U T I O N
Honoring
Brydon Feister as a 2025 Division II State Wrestling Champion.
WHEREAS,
The members of the Senate of the 136th General Assembly of Ohio are
pleased to commend Brydon Feister on winning the 2025 Division II
State Championship in boys wrestling in the 190-pound weight class;
and
WHEREAS,
A diligent and capable individual, Brydon Feister is deserving of
recognition for his exemplary accomplishments as a member of the
Archbishop Hoban High School boys wrestling team. An exceptional
athlete, he defeated a tough Canfield competitor by a score of 6-5 to
win first place in the 190-pound weight class at this year’s
Division II State Tournament, securing his school’s first such
title in forty-four years, and his noteworthy record of personal
achievement stands as a testament to his dedication; and
WHEREAS,
Through his participation in wrestling, Brydon Feister has learned
important lessons of discipline, perseverance, hard work, and good
sportsmanship that will undoubtedly be of great benefit to him
throughout his life. Through his outstanding efforts, he has inspired
countless people to excel in various areas of endeavor, and he has
set an example worthy of emulation; and
WHEREAS,
In a society that seeks to teach the future leaders of our state and
nation the fundamentals of self-reliance and the rewards of
individual effort, athletic competition has become a valuable
educational tool. With sports contributing to the development of
countless youth, we are happy to congratulate such a fine wrestler as
Brydon Feister; therefore be it
RESOLVED,
That we, the members of the Senate of the 136th General Assembly of
Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, applaud Brydon Feister on his
Division II State Wrestling Championship and extend best wishes for
continued success; and be it further
RESOLVED,
That the Clerk of the Senate transmit a duly authenticated copy of
this Resolution to Brydon Feister.
