COMMITTEE SUBSTITUTE

An Act relating to the Corporation Commission;
amending 51 O.S. 2021, Section 24A.12, which relates
to litigation files and investigatory files of
Attorney General, district or municipal attorney;
authorizing certain agencies to keep litigation files
confidential; and providing an effective date.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:
SECTION 1. AMENDATORY 51 O.S. 2021, Section 24A.12, is
amended to read as follows:
Section 24A.12. Except as otherwise provided by state or local
law, the Attorney General of the State of Oklahoma and agency
attorneys authorized by law, the Corporation Commission, the
Oklahoma Bureau of Narcotics and Dangerous Drugs Control, the
Alcoholic Beverage Laws Enforcement Commission, the Workers'
Compensation Commission, the office of the district attorney of any

county of the state, and the office of the municipal attorney of any
municipality may keep its litigation files and investigatory reports
confidential.
SECTION 2. This act shall become effective November 1, 2026.
