An Act relating to crimes and punishments; making
certain acts unlawful; providing penalties; providing
forfeiture actions for seized land; providing for
codification; and declaring an emergency.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:
SECTION 1. NEW LAW A new section of law to be codified
in the Oklahoma Statutes as Section 1796 of Title 21, unless there
is created a duplication in numbering, reads as follows:
Any alien or person who is not a citizen of the United States
who has unlawfully acquired title to or owns land in this state
either directly or indirectly through a business entity, trust, or
foreign government enterprise and who uses such land to commit a
felony offense in violation of state law shall, upon conviction, be
guilty of a felony punishable by imprisonment in the custody of the
Department of Corrections for a term not to exceed five (5) years,
or by a fine not to exceed One Thousand Dollars ($1,000.00), or by
both such fine and imprisonment. In addition, all land seized
pursuant to this section shall be subject to the forfeiture

provisions provided for in Section 1738 of Title 21 of the Oklahoma
Statutes.
SECTION 2. It being immediately necessary for the preservation
of the public peace, health or safety, an emergency is hereby
declared to exist, by reason whereof this act shall take effect and
be in full force from and after its passage and approval.
