An Act relating to definitions; defining family
resource center; providing for codification; and
providing an effective date.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:
SECTION 1. NEW LAW A new section of law to be codified
in the Oklahoma Statutes as Section 52 of Title 25, unless there is
created a duplication in numbering, reads as follows:
The term "family resource center" means a community, school, or
faith-based hub of support services for families that:
1. Utilizes an approach that is multigenerational, strengths-
based, and family-centered;
2. Reflects, and is responsive to, community needs and
interests;
3. Provides support at no or low cost for participants;
4. Builds communities of peer support for families, including
kinship families, to develop social connections that reduce
isolation and stress; and

5. Integrates access to supportive employment services that
build skills, strengthen workforce attachment, and promote long-term
family stability.
SECTION 2. This act shall become effective November 1, 2026.
