JOINT
RESOLUTION NO. 1023 By: Turner of the House
and
Thompson of the Senate
A Joint Resolution relating to workers' compensation;
approving certain fee schedule; directing
distribution; providing an effective date; and
declaring an emergency.
SUBJECT: Workers' compensation
WHEREAS, paragraph 14 of subsection H of Section 50 of Title 85A
of the Oklahoma Statutes requires the Workers' Compensation
Commission to evaluate the Fee Schedule for maximum rates paid for
reimbursement to medical providers and adopt updates or adjustments;
and
WHEREAS, paragraph 14 of subsection H of Section 50 of Title 85A
of the Oklahoma Statutes also requires the Workers' Compensation
Commission to submit the updated and adjusted Fee Schedule to the
President Pro Tempore of the Oklahoma State Senate, the Speaker of
the Oklahoma House of Representatives, and the Governor; and
WHEREAS, paragraph 14 of subsection H of Section 50 of Title 85A
of the Oklahoma Statutes requires approval by the Legislature of the
proposed Fee Schedule before the Fee Schedule can become effective;
and
WHEREAS, if approved by the Legislature, the proposed Fee
Schedule becomes effective on July 1 following the legislative
session in which the Fee Schedule received legislative approval.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES
AND THE SENATE OF THE 2ND SESSION OF THE 60TH OKLAHOMA LEGISLATURE:
SECTION 1. The proposed Fee Schedule for maximum rates paid for
reimbursement to medical providers, as amended and updated pursuant
to paragraph 14 of subsection H of Section 50 of Title 85A of the
Oklahoma Statutes, and submitted to the President Pro Tempore of the
Oklahoma State Senate, the Speaker of the Oklahoma House of
Representatives, and the Governor, is hereby approved as required by
paragraph 14 of subsection H of Section 50 of Title 85A of the
Oklahoma Statutes.
SECTION 2. Copies of this joint resolution shall be dispatched
to the members of the Workers' Compensation Commission, the
Governor, and the Secretary of State.
SECTION 3. This resolution shall become effective July 1, 2026.
SECTION 4. It being immediately necessary for the preservation
of the public peace, health or safety, an emergency is hereby
declared to exist, by reason whereof this resolution shall take
effect and be in full force from and after its passage and approval.
