AS INTRODUCED

A Resolution asking the Centers for Medicare and
Medicaid Services to increase reimbursement rates for
Medicare Part C.

WHEREAS, there are approximately 800,000 Oklahoma residents with
Medicare coverage; and
WHEREAS, the Oklahoma House of Representatives wants fair
coverage of those residents that have Medicare Part C, or more
commonly known as, Medicare Advantage Plan as their health
insurance; and
WHEREAS, the Oklahoma House of Representatives wants fair
reimbursement rates for those providers that provide services under
Medicare Part C as the providers that provide services under
Medicare Part A and B; and

WHEREAS, the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services
reimburse different rates depending on which plan the patient is
insured by.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES
OF THE 1ST SESSION OF THE 60TH OKLAHOMA LEGISLATURE:
THAT the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services require that
Medicare Part C reimburse providers at the same standard rate as
Medicare Part A and B for all services.
