SENATE BILL 1345 By: Gollihare
AS INTRODUCED
An Act relating to the Oklahoma Water Resources
Board; making an appropriation; stating purpose;
providing for codification; providing an effective
date; and declaring an emergency.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:
SECTION 1. NEW LAW A new section of law to be codified
in the Oklahoma Statutes as Section 1085.30b of Title 82, unless
there is created a duplication in numbering, reads as follows:
A. There is hereby appropriated to the OWRB Revolving Fund from
any monies not otherwise appropriated from the General Revenue Fund
of the State Treasury for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2027, the
sum of Two Million Dollars ($2,000,000.00) or so much thereof as may
be necessary to perform the duties imposed upon the Oklahoma Water
Resources Board by law.
B. The appropriated amount in subsection A of this section
shall be used by the Board to hire an engineer to implement a
regional water district for Creek and Okmulgee counties.
SECTION 2. This act shall become effective July 1, 2026.

SECTION 3. It being immediately necessary for the preservation
of the public peace, health or safety, an emergency is hereby
declared to exist, by reason whereof this act shall take effect and
be in full force from and after its passage and approval.
