SENATE BILL 1487 By: Kirt

AS INTRODUCED

An Act relating to the Corporation Commission;
requiring promulgation of rules regarding certain
rates; stating certain intent; providing for
codification; and providing an effective date.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:
SECTION 1. NEW LAW A new section of law to be codified
in the Oklahoma Statutes as Section 265 of Title 17, unless there is
created a duplication in numbering, reads as follows:
A. The Corporation Commission shall promulgate rules allowing
public utilities to utilize usage-based rates when establishing rate
tariffs for customer classes.
B. It is the intention of the Legislature that this entire
section is an amendment to and alteration of Sections 18 through 34,
inclusive, of Article IX of the Oklahoma Constitution, as authorized
by Section 35 of Article IX of the Oklahoma Constitution.
