SENATE BILL 1564 By: Rosino

AS INTRODUCED

An Act relating to the state Medicaid program;
requiring the Oklahoma Health Care Authority and
contracted entities to adopt certain billing code for
specified claims; requiring certain reimbursement;
providing for codification; providing an effective
date; and declaring an emergency.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:
SECTION 1. NEW LAW A new section of law to be codified
in the Oklahoma Statutes as Section 5025.1 of Title 63, unless there
is created a duplication in numbering, reads as follows:
A. The Oklahoma Health Care Authority and all contracted
entities shall adopt the Healthcare Common Procedure Coding System
(HCPCS) code G0330 for reimbursement of claims under the state
Medicaid program for facility fees for dental surgeries performed
under general anesthesia in operating rooms including, but not
limited to, ambulatory surgical centers when such surgeries are
performed on an individual with an intellectual or developmental
disability.

B. 1. The Authority shall establish a reasonable reimbursement
rate for the claims described in subsection A of this section that
reflects the actual cost of providing such services.
2. All contracted entities shall reimburse claims described in
subsection A of this section at not less than the rate established
by the Authority under paragraph 1 of this subsection.
SECTION 2. This act shall become effective July 1, 2026.
SECTION 3. It being immediately necessary for the preservation
of the public peace, health or safety, an emergency is hereby
declared to exist, by reason whereof this act shall take effect and
be in full force from and after its passage and approval.
