An Act relating to wildlife; authorizing the
Department of Wildlife Conservation to implement a
system for registration and licensing of hunting
guides; excluding certain entities; providing for
promulgation of rules; providing for codification;
and providing an effective date.

SUBJECT: Hunting guides

BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:

SECTION 1. NEW LAW A new section of law to be codified
in the Oklahoma Statutes as Section 4-112B of Title 29, unless there
is created a duplication in numbering, reads as follows:

A. The Department of Wildlife Conservation shall, for the
safety and security of landowners and hunters in this state, create
a system of registration and licensing for any person or entity
providing guiding services in this state, excluding those services
provided for commercial hunting facilities and landowners providing
guiding services on their own property.

B. The Department shall promulgate all rules necessary to
implement the provisions of this section.

SECTION 2. This act shall become effective November 1, 2025.
