SENATE BILL NO. 2122 By: McIntosh and Grellner of
the Senate

and

Hall of the House

An Act relating to agriculture; amending 2 O.S. 2021,
Section 5-60.6, which relates to authority to
promulgate rules by the Oklahoma Department of
Agriculture, Food, and Forestry; requiring rules to
allow out-of-state poultry processors to be used; and
providing an effective date.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:
SECTION 1. AMENDATORY 2 O.S. 2021, Section 5-60.6, is
amended to read as follows:
Section 5-60.6. The Oklahoma Department of Agriculture, Food,
and Forestry is authorized to promulgate rules as necessary to carry
out the provisions of this act, including rules that permit the
utilization of out-of-state poultry processing plants if in-state
options are not available.
SECTION 2. This act shall become effective November 1, 2026.
