RESOLUTION 19 By: Prieto
AS INTRODUCED
A Resolution declaring November 5, 2025, as President
Donald J. Trump Day; recognizing and celebrating the
achievements and contributions of President Trump;
and directing distribution.
WHEREAS, President Donald J. Trump earned widespread support in
Oklahoma during the 2016, 2020, and 2024 general elections, securing
victory in all 77 counties; and
WHEREAS, on November 5, 2024, Americans overwhelmingly re-
elected President Donald J. Trump for a second term, reaffirming
their confidence in his leadership; and
WHEREAS, after a historic first term as the 45th President of
the United States, President Donald J. Trump became America’s 47th
President; and
WHEREAS, President Donald J. Trump’s decisive victory in
Oklahoma showed the state’s immense support for his policies and
vision to Make America Great Again, as his leadership continues to
resonate with Oklahomans; and

WHEREAS, Oklahoma is the first state in the nation to name a
section of highway after President Donald J. Trump to honor his
legacy and express support for his administration.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SENATE OF THE 1ST SESSION
OF THE 60TH OKLAHOMA LEGISLATURE:
THAT the Oklahoma Senate recognizes and celebrates President
Donald J. Trump’s lasting influence on Oklahoma’s economy, security,
and prosperity.
THAT the Oklahoma Senate declares November 5, 2025, as President
Donald J. Trump Day in honor of his historic support in Oklahoma and
his leadership on behalf of the state and nation.
THAT a copy of this resolution be distributed to the White
House.
