A BILL FOR AN ACT
Relating to the Oregon Business Development Department.
Be It Enacted by the People of the State of Oregon:
SECTION 1.
There is appropriated to the Oregon Business Development Department, for
the biennium beginning July 1, 2025, out of the General Fund, the amount of $100,000 for the
purpose of carrying out the provisions of section 2 of this 2025 Act.
SECTION 2. The Oregon Business Development Department shall:
(1) Discontinue registering with the Secretary of State to do business as “Business
Oregon”; and
(2) Hold itself out and otherwise refer to itself as the “Oregon Business Development
Department” or “OBDD” and not as “Business Oregon” in all internal and external commu-
nications, publications and other documentation of any kind.
