Requires the Oregon Medical Board and the Oregon State Board of Nursing to ensure that health care providers are trained on the negative health effects of using betel nuts. Directs the Department of Education and the Higher Education Coordinating Commission to ensure information on the negative health effects of using betel nuts is incorporated into curricula. Requires the authority to submit a report to the interim committees of the Legislative Assembly related to public health no later than December 15, 2026. Declares an emergency, effective on passage.
