AN ACT
Amending the act of March 10, 1949 (P.L.30, No.14), entitled "An
act relating to the public school system, including certain
provisions applicable as well to private and parochial
schools; amending, revising, consolidating and changing the
laws relating thereto," in charter schools, further providing
for contents of application.
The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
hereby enacts as follows:
Section 1. Section 1719-A(11) of the act of March 10, 1949
(P.L.30, No.14), known as the Public School Code of 1949, is
amended to read:
Section 1719-A. Contents of Application.--An application to
establish a charter school shall include all of the following
information:

(11) A description of and address of [the] any physical
facility in which the charter school will be located [and the
ownership thereof and any lease arrangements.], provided that
each physical facility shall be located within the boundaries of
a single school district. The charter school shall:

(i) Provide the school district with the address and
information on ownership or lease arrangements for each physical
facility.
(ii) Notify the school district of any change in the
information under this paragraph within ten (10) days of the
change.

Section 2. This act shall take effect in 60 days.
