A RESOLUTION
Honoring the life and extending condolences on the passing of
Kevin L. Brehm.
WHEREAS, The Senate mourns the passing of Kevin L. Brehm, a
respected member of the Adams County community; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Brehm passed away on April 9, 2026, after
suffering a medical event while on duty as an emergency medical
technician (EMT) with the Dover Area Ambulance Club in Dover
Borough; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Brehm worked as an EMT with the club, and gave
42 years of service with local volunteer fire departments,
including Northeast Adams Fire and EMS, where he had formerly
served in multiple roles, including as Deputy Chief; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Brehm first volunteered for the Northeast Adams
Fire and EMS as a teenager; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Brehm was a graduate of Bermudian Springs High
School, class of 1984; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Brehm was presented a Senate citation in 2009
for 25 years of service to Adams EMS; and

WHEREAS, Mr. Brehm spent countless hours training, served as
a mentor to fellow EMTs across the area and saved many lives
over the years; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Brehm was known as a devoted husband, brother
and friend to many and whose deep commitment to family and
community was a defining hallmark of his life; and
WHEREAS, The Senate recognizes the profound loss felt by the
Brehm family and the broader first responder community and
offers its deepest sympathy during this difficult time;
therefore be it
RESOLVED, That the Senate honor the life and legacy of Kevin
L. Brehm and extend heartfelt condolences to his family and
friends; and be it further
RESOLVED, That a copy of this resolution be transmitted to
the family of Kevin L. Brehm as a lasting expression of the
Senate's respect and sympathy.
