RESOLVED, That the special legislative commission created by resolution No. 380

passed by the House of Representatives at its January session, A.D. 2025, and approved June 18,

2025, entitled "House Resolution Creating a Special Legislative Commission To Study and

Provide Recommendations for the Creation of a Statewide Whole-Home Repairs Program" is
5
hereby authorized to continue its study and make a report to the House of Representatives on or
6
before June 30, 2026, and said commission shall expire on August 30, 2026; and be it further
7
RESOLVED, That the time for reporting authorized by resolution No. 380 passed by the
8
House of Representatives at its January session, A.D. 2025, and approved June 18, 2025, be and
9
the same is hereby rescinded; and be it further
10
RESOLVED, That the composition of said House commission is hereby amended by
11
substituting the Executive Director of Rhode Island Housing, or designee, with the Secretary of
12
the Rhode Island Department of Housing, or designee.

This resolution would extend the reporting date of the special legislative commission to

study and provide recommendations for the creation of a statewide whole-home repairs program
3
from January 5, 2026, to June 30, 2026, and said commission would expire on August 30, 2026,
4
and would amend the membership of the commission by substituting the Executive Director of
5
Rhode Island Housing with the Secretary of the Rhode Island Department of Housing.
