PROCLAIMING APRIL 28, 2026, AS "PAY IT FORWARD WITH LOVE FROM TORI DAY"
IN THE STATE OF RHODE ISLAND

WHEREAS, April 28 is recognized as “Global Pay It Forward Day,” a worldwide
2
movement dedicated to encouraging acts of kindness, generosity, and goodwill; and
3
WHEREAS, The concept of paying it forward inspires individuals to perform acts of
4
kindness without expectation of return, fostering a ripple effect that strengthens the social fabric
5
of our communities; and
6
WHEREAS, “Pay It Forward with Love from Tori” was established in loving memory of
7
Tori Lynn Andreozzi, whose life and spirit continue to inspire compassion, courage, and hope;
8
and
9
WHEREAS, This initiative encourages individuals of all ages to engage in meaningful
10
acts of kindness, grounded in the belief that nurturing empathy in our youth helps shape
11
compassionate adults and stronger communities; now, therefore be it
12
RESOLVED, That this House recognizes the profound impact that simple acts of
13
kindness can have in building a more inclusive, connected, and caring society; and be it further
14
RESOLVED, That this House of Representatives of the State of Rhode Island hereby
15
proclaims April 28, 2026 as “Pay It Forward With Love From Tori Day” in the State of Rhode
16
Island and urges all citizens to recognize this day through acts of kindness, generosity, and
17
service to others, keeping alive the spirit that even the smallest gesture can make a lasting
18
difference: and be it further

RESOLVED, That the Secretary of State be and hereby is authorized and directed to
1
transmit a duly certified copy of this resolution to Cathy Andreozzi.
