EXPRESSING CONDOLENCES ON THE PASSING OF THOMAS F. LEPORE

WHEREAS, It is with deep sadness that this Senate has learned of the passing of Thomas
2
F. Lepore of Cumberland. Mr. Lepore was born in Pawtucket, the son of the late Frank and
3
Beatrice Lepore; and
4
WHEREAS, Thomas Lepore was a self-made man and a highly successful businessman
5
who was the founder and President of Lepore Construction. Mr. Lepore was a jack of all trades
6
who operated heavy equipment by trade but was also skilled in carpentry, plumbing, auto
7
mechanics and electrical work. It seemed as if there wasn't anything Mr. Lepore couldn’t do, and
8
if he couldn't do it, he would grab a book and teach himself how to do it; and
9
WHEREAS, In his free time, Thomas Lepore enjoyed spending time at home or near
10
home. He enjoyed riding his Harley to the beach or the Foster Fair to watch the tractor pulls. He
11
also enjoyed reading about history and travelling to historic places. His favorite thing to do,
12
however, was to spend time with his grandchildren; and
13
WHEREAS, Thomas Lepore is survived by his daughters, Rebecca Lepore, Jennifer
14
Menzone, and her husband, David, and Amanda Raspallo and her husband, Alexander as well as
15
his grandchildren, Lilliana Menzone, Lucas Pora, Layla Pora, and Harper Raspallo, and his
16
fiancé, Robyn Jolicouer. Mr. Lepore was a beloved father figure to Robyn's children, Maddison
17
and Miles. Mr. Lepore also leaves behind his siblings, Rita Patras, Deborah Tully, Christine
18
Mockler, Frank Lepore, Joseph Lepore, Steve Lepore, Tammy Champeau, and James Lepore. Mr.
19
Lepore was predeceased by his brother, Peter Lepore; now, therefore be it
20
RESOLVED, That this Senate of the State of Rhode Island hereby expresses its deepest

condolences on the passing of Thomas F. Lepore; and be it further
2
RESOLVED, That the Secretary of State be and hereby is authorized and directed to
3
transmit duly certified copies of this resolution to Rebecca Lepore, Jennifer Menzone, and
4
Amanda Raspallo.
