TO RECOGNIZE AND HONOR THE MEMBERS OF THE FORT MILL
AMERICAN LEGION AUXILIARY POST #43 AND TO CONGRATULATE THEM UPON THE ONE
HUNDREDTH ANNIVERSARY OF the Fort Mill AMERICAN LEGION AUXILIARY.

W
hereas, the South
Carolina General Assembly is pleased to learn that American Legion Auxiliary
(ALA) Post #43 in Fort Mill is celebrating a century of selfless service and
making a difference for veterans, service members, and their families; and

W
hereas, since the auxiliary's
inception on November 10, 1919, Auxiliary members and nonmember volunteers have
been tirelessly carrying out the ALA's commitment as a patriotic service
organization whose mission would be to advocate for, help, and honor the United
States military, veterans, and their families, and to support The American
Legion; and

W
hereas, on Saturday,
October 11, 2025, auxiliary members will celebrate their one hundred years of
service through Fort Mill's Post #43 with a dinner, distinguished speakers, and
dancing at the Fort Mill American Legion Hall. Now, therefore,

e it resolved by the House
of Representatives, the Senate concurring:

T
hat the members of the
South Carolina General Assembly, by this resolution, recognize and honor the
members of the Fort Mill American Legion Auxiliary Post #43 and congratulate
them upon the one hundredth anniversary of the Fort Mill American Legion
Auxiliary.
