RESOLUTION
to congratulate the northwestern high school
football team, coaches, and school officials for an outstanding season and to
honor them for winning the south carolina class AAAAA Division II 2025 state
championship title.
W
hereas, the South
Carolina House of Representatives is proud to recognize the Northwestern High
School football team for winning the South Carolina Class AAAAA Division II State
Championship on December 5, 2025. This historic win marks the program's second
consecutive state championship title; and
W
hereas, under the
visionary leadership of Head Coach Page Wofford and his dedicated coaching staff,
the team compiled an impressive overall record of thirteen victories and one
defeat, demonstrating discipline, determination, and an unwavering commitment
to excellence; and
W
hereas, to the delight
of their loyal and enthusiastic supporters, the Northwestern Trojans defeated an
outstanding Irmo High School football team 55-13, in a hard-fought championship
contest, a victory that stands as a resounding testament to the team's
perseverance, teamwork, and exemplary sportsmanship; and
W
hereas, the South
Carolina House of Representatives takes great pride in honoring these
exceptional student-athletes, who have brought distinction to their school and
community through their remarkable performance, and the members look forward
with confidence to the team's continued success in the years ahead. Now,

South Carolina
House of Representatives
,
by this resolution, congratulate the Northwestern High School football team,
coaches, and school officials for an outstanding season and honor them for
winning the 2025 South Carolina Class AAAAA Division II State Championship
title.

e it further resolved
that a copy of this resolution be presented to Principal Michael Abraham and
Coach Page Wofford.
