TO HONOR AND
CONGRATULATE BROOKE WYLIE ON BEING CROWNED MISS SOUTH CAROLINA HIGH SCHOOL
AMERICA 2026 AND TO WISH HER LUCK AS SHE TRAVELS TO ARKANSAS TO REPRESENT THE

W
hereas, the members of
the South Carolina House of Representatives were pleased to hear that Brooke
Wylie was crowned the 2026 Miss South Carolina High School America on January
18, 2026, at Converse College in Spartanburg; and
W
hereas, Brooke has an
admirable commitment to her studies, maintaining a 4.8 GPA and being on the
Principal's List Honor Roll. Last year, she was chosen by the administration at
Seneca High School as an outstanding sophomore student. Now in her junior year
at Seneca High School, she is a member of student government, National Honor
Society, National Beta Club, Madrigals Acapella Group, and Honors Chorale, from
which she was chosen for All-County and All-State; and
W

cheerleader, but she is also a coach and mentor for the Seneca Youth
Cheerleading Camp; and
W

within her community, working with and bringing the High School America
Anti-Bullying Platform, BRAVE (Building Respect and Values for Everyone)
message to life. She has reached over 150 students and patients locally through
her song. She has visited classrooms and Prisma Health Children's Hospital,
donating art kits through the platform, Hearts that Heal, that she founded to
help spread love and support to children in the hospital, where she makes
donations of crayons and coloring books to the patients; and
W
hereas, Brooke has established
and built her own Blessing Box, a community supported 24/7 food donation box,
at St. Marks Methodist Church in Seneca, that helps many people in need in the
community. She also volunteers her time at the nursery at Foothills Church; and
W
hereas, Brooke is devoted to helping
her community in many different ways. She is a Special Needs peer assistant and
volunteer for the Special Olympics. She has participated in "Shop with Bobcat,"
where Seneca high school students raise money around Christmas to be able to
take underprivileged children shopping. She spends time serving at the Golden
Corner Food Bank, as well as participates in Feed the 5000 during Thanksgiving.
She donates to Little Free Libraries, and visits several schools to read to elementary
school students. She has participated in the Breakthrough T1D Walk to help raise
awareness for type 1 diabetes, and volunteers at the Ronald McDonald House; and
W
hereas, the members of
the South Carolina House of Representatives value the pride and recognition
that Brooke Wylie brings to her community through her many works of service,
