TO CONGRATULATE MARTIE BROTHERS, EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT
TO THE SUPERINTENDENT FOR ANDERSON SCHOOL DISTRICT FOUR, UPON THE OCCASION OF
HER WELL-DESERVED RETIREMENT, TO COMMEND HER FOR HER THIRTY YEARS OF DEDICATED
SERVICE TO THE STATE OF SOUTH CAROLINA, AND TO WISH HER MUCH HAPPINESS AND
FULFILLMENT IN ALL HER FUTURE ENDEAVORS.

W
hereas, the South
Carolina House of Representatives has learned that Anderson School District
Four's Martie Brothers, executive assistant to the superintendent, is retiring
after thirty years of outstanding service to the State of South Carolina; and

W
hereas, a Pendleton
High graduate herself, Martie first took up her duties with Anderson School
District 4 at her high school alma mater, where she served as secretary to the
principal and as bookkeeper for more than seven years; and

W
hereas, she then
brought her talents to the Anderson School District 4 Finance Department,
eventually serving as executive assistant to the superintendent. Martie
completed her career with over twenty-two years of service at the district
level and three decades of service to the State of South Carolina overall; and

W
hereas, throughout her
career, Martie has been a tremendous asset to the district. She is known for
her creativity, strong work ethic, and willingness to step in wherever she is
needed. From coordinating and decorating for multiple school openings -- including
beautifully themed events such as her Tiffany-inspired designs -- to organizing
lunches for the entire district, she has consistently gone above and beyond;
and

W
hereas, moreover, her
dedication, attention to detail, and positive presence have left a lasting
impact on Anderson School District 4; and

W
hereas, having created
a legacy of excellence that will continue to inspire for years to come, Martie
Brothers will be remembered with affection, respect, and gratitude by all who
have had the privilege of working with her. Now, therefore,

House of Representatives

hat the members of the
South Carolina
House of Representatives
,
by this resolution, congratulate Martie Brothers, executive assistant to the
superintendent for Anderson School District Four, upon the occasion of her well-deserved
retirement, commend her for her thirty years of dedicated service to the State
of South Carolina, and wish her much happiness and fulfillment in all her
future endeavors.

that a copy of this resolution be presented to Martie Brothers.
