VERSIONS OF THIS BILL
03/03/2026

A concurrent RESOLUTION

TO HONOR AND
COMMEND WORLD HARVEST EVANGELIST JACOB EBERSOLE; TO RECOGNIZE MAY 1-3, 2026, AS
"CHARLESTON CRUSADE 2026" IN THE STATE OF SOUTH CAROLINA; TO ACKNOWLEDGE THE
HISTORIC CHRISTIAN HERITAGE OF THIS STATE; AND TO ENCOURAGE THE VOLUNTARY
REDEDICATION OF SOUTH CAROLINA TO ALMIGHTY GOD THROUGH PRAYER, REPENTANCE, AND
MORAL RENEWAL AMONG ITS CITIZENS.

W
hereas, South Carolina
has long been a State whose founding documents, early charters, and historical
traditions acknowledge faith in Almighty God and the importance of religious
liberty; and

W
hereas, from its
colonial beginnings through its constitutional development, South Carolina has
recognized the guiding hand of Providence in its civic life and public
institutions; and

W
hereas, throughout its
history, the people of South Carolina have assembled in times of challenge and
opportunity to seek divine wisdom, moral clarity, and spiritual renewal; and

W
hereas, World Harvest
evangelist Jacob Ebersole has demonstrated leadership in organizing the
Charleston Crusade 2026, scheduled for May 1-3, 2026, as a time of prayer,
worship, repentance, and evangelistic outreach; and

W
hereas, such
gatherings are conducted in the spirit of the freedoms guaranteed by the
Constitution of the United States and the Constitution of the State of South
Carolina, particularly the free exercise of religion and freedom of assembly;
and

W
hereas, many citizens
of this State desire, according to their individual consciences and faith
traditions, to voluntarily rededicate themselves, their families, their
communities, and this State to Almighty God, seeking His guidance for
righteousness, justice, compassion, humility, and civic responsibility; and

W
hereas, it is
anticipated that on May 17, 2026, a national gathering on the Mall in
Washington, D.C., will call for the United States once again to be dedicated to
God as a nation; and

W
hereas, the General
Assembly recognizes the historic and continuing role faith has played in
shaping the moral and civic foundations of both South Carolina and the United
States. Now, therefore,

B
e it resolved by the House
of Representatives, the Senate concurring:

T
hat the members of the
South Carolina General Assembly, by this resolution, honor and commend World
Harvest evangelist Jacob Ebersole; recognize May 1-3, 2026, as "Charleston
Crusade 2026" in the State of South Carolina; acknowledge the historic
Christian heritage of this State; and encourage the voluntary rededication of
South Carolina to Almighty God through prayer, repentance, and moral renewal
among its citizens.

B
e it further resolved that
a copy of this resolution be presented to World Harvest evangelist Jacob
Ebersole.
