RESOLUTION

TO AUTHORIZE PALMETTO BOYS STATE TO USE THE CHAMBER
OF THE SOUTH CAROLINA HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES ON FRIDAY, JUNE 12, 2026,
PROVIDED THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES IS NOT IN SESSION, AND THE CHAMBER MAY
NOT BE USED IF THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES IS IN SESSION OR THE CHAMBER IS
OTHERWISE UNAVAILABLE.

Be it
resolved by the House of Representatives:

That the
members of the South Carolina House of Representatives, by this resolution,
hereby authorize Palmetto Boys State to use the chamber of the House of
Representatives on Friday, June 12, 2026, for its annual State House meeting.
If the House is in statewide session or if the chamber is otherwise
unavailable, then the chamber of the House may not be used.

Be it further
resolved that the use of the chamber and the available committee hearing rooms
by Palmetto Boys State must be in strict accordance with the policies and the
Rules of the House of Representatives.

Be it further
resolved that the Office of the Sergeant at Arms of the House shall provide
assistance and access as necessary for this meeting in accordance with
applicable procedures of the Rules of the House of Representatives.

Be it further
resolved that a copy of this resolution be forwarded to the executive operations
director of Palmetto Boys State and to House of Representatives Sergeant at
Arms Mitchell G. Dorman.
