formal documentation of the Aiken County Ministers' Wives and Ministers' Widows
Alliance's history exists prior to 1982, the history written in 1982 recognizes
that the alliance was organized around 1934 at the home of Mrs. Mamie Holland.
The Ministers' Wives and Ministers' Widows Alliance of Aiken County has a history
of love and service for the interests of the community, mission work, and
support of those in distress; and

talents to support each other, the community, their churches, and their husbands.
The purpose of the organization is to unite ministers' wives and widows of
various Christian denominations into a fellowship for effective service in the
community and emphasizes training, fellowship, and the talents of its members
to support each other and their churches; and
W

the way to church on Easter Sunday; and
W
