TO RECOGNIZE AND
HONOR THE THOMAS SUMTER ACADEMY VARSITY COMPETITION CHEER SQUAD, COACHES, AND
SCHOOL OFFICIALS FOR AN OUTSTANDING SEASON AND TO CONGRATULATE THEM FOR
CAPTURING THE 2025 SOUTH CAROLINA INDEPENDENT SCHOOL ASSOCIATION STATE
CHAMPIONSHIP TITLE.

W
hereas, the members of
the South Carolina House of Representatives are pleased to learn that the Thomas
Sumter Academy varsity competition cheer squad earned top honors at the 2025 South
Carolina Independent School Association (SCISA) Class 3A/4A State Cheer Competition,
held in November 2025. The varsity gameday team also distinguished itself by
securing a third-place finish; and

hereas, demonstrating
exceptional skill, determination, and teamwork, the Lady Generals triumphed
over a highly competitive field to claim the state championship title; and

W
hereas, the
championship team is comprised of twenty-one dedicated student athletes: Abigail
Rocheleau, Addison Conyers, Emma Jackson, Audrey Allen, Bella Tisdale, Kaylee
Grace Smith, Maddi Smith, Hannah Giddings, Gabby Tisdale, Hudson Laney, Julia
Andrade, Jenna Ray, Paisley Claypool, Sadie Cox, Lila Kate Stines, Adley
Boykin, Layla Blackmon, Mollie Gray Rogers, Reagan Hinson, Remi Yelenic, and
Ryann Stokes; and

W
hereas, in a sport
that demands precision, strength and grace, Coaches Deseree Allen, Jennifer
Brazell and Jessica Reid, have cultivated a championship-caliber program, instilling
in these student athletes the discipline, confidence, and character necessary
for success both on and off the mat; and

hereas, the House of
Representatives takes great pride in recognizing the excellence and
sportsmanship demonstrated by the Thomas Sumter Academy varsity competition
cheer squad, whose achievements bring honor to their school and community. Now,
therefore,

South Carolina
House of Representatives
,
by this resolution, recognize and honor the Thomas Sumter Academy varsity
competition cheer squad, coaches, and school officials for an outstanding
season and congratulate them for capturing the 2025 South Carolina Independent
School Association State Championship title.

e it further resolved
that a copy of this resolution be presented to Principal Ben Herod and Coaches
Deseree Allen, Jennifer Brazell, and Jessica Reid.
