TOURNAMENT.

W
hereas, the members of
the South Carolina House of Representatives were pleased to learn that the
members of the Pelion Elementary School archery team captured the state titles
in both Bullseye and IBO/3D; and

W
hereas, the new state
wins were just the latest of numerous triumphs for the famed Pelion Elementary
archers, who competed for this year's Bullseye and IBO/3D crowns on March 3,
2026, at the South Carolina State Fairgrounds; and

W
hereas, Coaches
Miranda Montgomery, Annalee Clark, and Ashlyn Massey, who used their own
athletic gifts and experience to build an archery team of championship caliber,
looked proudly on as the Panthers received their well-won awards; and

W
hereas, Pelion went
home with three first-place champions, all of whom received a bow and a $750
scholarship. These top scorers were Kaman Kneece (first place in Bullseye for
elementary males), Carter Day (first place in 3D for elementary males), and Cassidy
Johns (first place in 3D for elementary females); and

W
hereas, in addition,
the Panthers swept the podium in 3D elementary males. These five Pelion winners
were awarded a plaque and a place on the podium: first place, Carter Day;
second place, Owen Green; third place, Kyler King; fourth place, Knox Montgomery;
and fifth place, Kaman Kneece; and

W
hereas, with much
admiration, the House adds its united voice to the many encomiums flowing in to
the Pelion Elementary School archery team at the earning of its latest state
titles. Go, Panthers! Now, therefore,
