RESOLUTION

to remember and celebrate the life of Dale Johnson
Moore and to extend the deepest sympathy to her large and loving family and
many friends.

W
hereas, the members of
the South Carolina House of Representatives were deeply saddened to learn of
the passing of Dale Johnson Moore on Monday, March 16, 2026; and

W
hereas, born in
Augusta, Georgia to parents Eddie and Doris Williams Johnson on November 9,
1951; and

W
hereas, she was the
devoted and beloved wife of Mr. Tommy Moore for fifty-five years, sharing with
him a life marked by steadfast love, partnership, and companionship; and

W
hereas, a dedicated civic
leader, Mrs. Moore was a constant and cheerful presence in the Clearwater
community, most notably through her involvement with Valley Recreation, where
she generously gave her time and could always be found on the sidelines,
enthusiastically supporting not only her own children but countless others; and

W
hereas, a devout
Christian, she was a member of Christian Heritage Church in Graniteville. Her
life was a reflection of her deep faith and her belief that every child is a
gift from God, a sentiment beautifully captured on a plaque at Helping Hands in
Aiken. She did not just speak those words, she lived them daily, pouring her
heart into being a loving and supportive mama and grandma; and

W
hereas, Mrs. Moore had
a gift for bringing smiles to those around her. Her humor was effortless, and
her laughter unforgettable. Quiet in nature but abundant in generosity, she
gave selflessly and loved deeply. She embodied the Fruit of the Spirit - love,
joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and
self-control - and her life stands as a lasting and powerful testament to those
virtues; and

W
hereas, Mrs. Moore was
preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Dickie Johnson; and

W
hereas, Mrs. Moore
leaves to cherish her memory her loving husband Tommy; her sons and
daughters-in-law, Baylen and Donna Moore, and Brent and Kristi Moore; her
brother, Alvin Johnson; her beloved cousin, Becky Watts; and her treasured
grandchildren, Luke, Rhett, Spencer, Bennett, Grayson, and Lindsey, each of
whom brought her immeasurable joy and pride; and

W
hereas, the members of
the South Carolina House of Representatives are grateful for the life and
legacy of Mrs. Dale Johnson Moore and for the example of kindness and service
to others that she set for all who knew her. Now, therefore,
