RESOLUTION
to recognize and honor the Pelion Middle school Archery
team and coaches for an outstanding season and to congratulate them on winning
the 2026 South Carolina ARCHERY IN THE SCHOOLS 3D State Championship title in
Bullseye and IBO/3D.
W
hereas, the South
Carolina House of Representatives is pleased to learn that the members of the
Pelion Middle School archery team took top honors at the South Carolina Archery
in the Schools 3D State Championship held at the South Carolina State Fair
Grounds on March 5, 2026; and
W
hereas, these young
athletes had an incredible performance, showing precision and strength at the state
championship, taking home first place for both IBO/3D and Bullseye; and
W
hereas, the archery
team consists of eighteen talented young archers, Delilah Williams, Karlee
Kneece, Aubrey Joy, Liam O'Neill, Autumn Jeffcoat, Dillon Montgomery, Claire
Hartley, Skyler Sherman, Eden Baskin, Hannah Pierce, Paisley Montgomery, Laycee
Morphy, Harper Bolin, Ernie Stierwald, Edward Zuniga, Kadince Sparks, Clara
Clark, and Xander Leaden; and
W
hereas, the Pelion
Middle School archery team had many standout performances, with Delilah
Williams winning first place in Bullseye and IBO/3D, Aubrey Joy taking second
place in Bullseye, and Karlee Kneece taking fifth place in Bullseye; and
W
hereas, in a sport
that demands strength and precision, Head Coach Annelee Clark and her skilled
assistant coaches, Ashlyn Massey and Don Leaden, utilized their own experience
and passion for the sport to mold a championship-caliber team. The lessons that
they taught these young athletes will continue to shape them throughout their
lives; and
W
hereas, the members of
the South Carolina House of Representatives value the pride and recognition
that the Pelion Middle School archery team has brought to their school and
their community. They look forward to following the team's future successes in
the days to come. Now, therefore,

House of Representatives

hat the members of the
South Carolina
House of Representatives
,
by this resolution, recognize and honor the Pelion Middle School archery team
and coaches for an outstanding season and congratulate them on winning the 2026
South Carolina Archery in the Schools 3D State Championship title in both Bullseye
and IBO/3D.

e it further resolved
that a copy of this resolution be presented to Pelion Middle School Principal
Jessica Keisler and Head Coach Annelee Clark.
