TO RECOGNIZE AND
HONOR THE WEST ASHLEY HIGH SCHOOL NAVY JUNIOR RESERVE OFFICERS TRAINING CORPS
CADETS FOR THEIR EXEMPLARY COMMUNITY SERVICE.

W
hereas, the West
Ashley High School Navy Junior Reserve Officers Training Corps (NJROTC) has
continually proven itself to be a beacon of leadership and community spirit,
particularly through its involvement in the Annual Thanksgiving Turkey Giveaway
and the Annual Christmas Toy Giveaway at the Community Resource Center; and

W
hereas, this dedicated
group of cadets has gone above and beyond the call of duty, exemplifying the
core values of service and leadership by volunteering to assist in the
distribution of vital resources to over three thousand families in the
Lowcountry, and have shown remarkable leadership skills in assisting during
these significant community events; and

W
hereas, their ability
to organize efficiently and work collaboratively ensured a smooth distribution
process, providing much-needed support to families in need, and this kind of
initiative not only highlights their commitment to service, but also cultivates
a sense of responsibility and empathy among the cadets; and

W
hereas, the impact of
these West Ashley High School students has been deeply felt within the
community. By dedicating their time and energy to the NJROTC, they have brought
a measure of joy and relief to countless individuals, especially during the
holiday seasons, and their work has been a beam of hope and support,
demonstrating the power of collective action and the importance of giving back;
and

W
hereas, their unwavering
dedication and willingness to serve have made a significant difference in the
lives of many, inspiring others to follow in their footsteps, and the community
sincerely appreciates their efforts. The cadets' actions have not only provided
immediate assistance, but have also fostered a sense of unity and compassion
within the Lowcountry; and

W
hereas, the House of
Representatives is grateful for the West Ashley High School NJROTC's
participation in these community events as a shining example of how young
leaders can make a meaningful impact, and the members value the cadets'
extraordinary service and commitment to their community as something to be
celebrated and emulated. Now, therefore,

House of Representatives

by this resolution, recognize and honor the West Ashley High School Navy Junior
Reserve Officers Training Corps cadets for their exemplary community service.
