To recognize Rededicate 250: A National Jubilee of
Prayer, Praise, and Thanksgiving happening on May 17, 2026, at the National
Mall in Washington, D.C.

W
hereas, on Sunday, May
17, 2026, at the National Mall in Washington, D.C., Freedom 250 will host Rededicate
250: A National Jubilee of Prayer, Praise, and Thanksgiving, inviting all
Americans to come together in prayer and worship ahead of the nation's two
hundred fiftieth birthday; and

W
hereas, Rededicate 250
will be an historic gathering as Americans from every background across the
country prepare for the nation's two hundred fiftieth birthday with scripture,
testimony, prayer, and the rededication of our country as one nation to God. The
celebration will start with morning fellowship in front of the United States
Capitol and end with an evening filled with music and praise. Rededicate 250
will be rooted in giving thanks for God's presence in our national life
throughout two hundred fifty years of American history and asking for His
guidance for the next two hundred and fifty; and

W
hereas, Rededicate 250
will gather together a broad assembly of voices united by a love of God and
country. Many public servants and national leaders will be in attendance. Speakers
include House Speaker Mike Johnson, Secretary of War Pete Hegseth, Secretary of
State Marco Rubio, Ambassador and Chief of Protocol of the United States Monica
Crowley, Former Housing and Urban Development Secretary Dr. Ben Carson, and
Medal of Honor recipient Major General Patrick Brady, United States Army,
Retired. They will also host authors and media voices such as Eric Metaxas,
Cissie Graham Lynch, and Abigail Robertson Allen; and

hereas, the event will
host many faith leaders from across the county and faith traditions to speak, including
Bishop Robert Barron, Reverend Franklin Graham, Cardinal Timothy Dolan, Pastor
Jack Graham, Pastor Jentezen Franklin, Rabbi Meir Soloveichik, Pastor Jonathan
Falwell, Pastor Jonathan Pokluda, Pastor Lorenzo Sewell, Pastor Gary Hamrick, Pastor
Andy Frank, and Reverend Samuel Rodriguez. Rededicate 250 will also include the
military chaplains' prayer; and

W
hereas, the event will
also include performances by "The President's Own" United States Marine Band, The
United States Navy Band, Grand Canyon University Canyon Choir, Hillsdale
College Choir, Liberty Worship Collective, Liberty University Praise, Fanfare
Trumpets of the Armed Forces, and the bagpipes from the United States Air Force
Band; and

hereas, the event will
focus on three main pillars: "The Miracles that Made Us," a reflection on God's
providence throughout two hundred fifty years, honoring the faith that inspired
America's founders and has carried us forward in every generation since; "The
Miracles Still in Our Midst," personal testimonies of God's healing in our
lives and in our land; and "A New Birth of Faith and Freedom," a collective
expression of gratitude for two hundred fifty years of freedom and a unified
moment of rededication asking for God's blessing, guidance, and grace for the
next two hundred fifty years; and

hereas, Rededicate 250
will be livestreamed through partner churches, ministries, and organizations,
making the event accessible to as many Americans as possible; and

W
hereas, Americans are
invited to join with neighbors and friends from every state in the union, to
give thanks and praise to God for two hundred fifty years of His providence for
the United States, in praying that God bless and protect America in the years
to come, and to solemnly rededicate our country as one nation under God. In
speech, song, and storytelling, those in attendance will bear witness to the
extraordinary story of how God has powerfully and wondrously shaped the United
States of America, remembering the people, sacrifices, and defining moments in
which God has powerfully manifested Himself in our history. Now, therefore,

by this resolution, recognize Rededicate 250: A National Jubilee of Prayer,
Praise, and Thanksgiving happening on May 17, 2026, at the National Mall in
